Location:
In the beautiful Bernese Oberland, on Lake Thun, just 8 km from Thun and 12 km from Interlaken, our chalet is situated in a slightly elevated position.
The spectacular view from the chalet of Lake Thun, the majestic Niesen and the Bernese Alps - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau - will make you forget the time.
The hiking area of the Bernese Oberland is right on the doorstep and the ski area in Wengen/Grindelwald is just 30 kilometres away. Lake Thun with its constant winds is ideal for sailing and swimming.
House:
The spacious, detached chalet with a large garden offers plenty of space for 7 people.
On the ground floor, the spacious living room with fireplace invites you to linger in comfort.
This is adjoined by the large dining room with piano.
There is also a well-equipped kitchen and a separate toilet on the ground floor.
On the first floor there are four bedrooms of different sizes, a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet.
Enjoy the marvellous view of the mountains and the lake from the large terrace on the ground floor or the balcony on the first floor. Let your gaze follow the more than 100-year-old paddle steamer Blüemlisalp as it announces its departure from the quay in Oberhofen with its typical whistle.
Car park / public transport:
There is a private car park directly in front of the house.
The house is very well served by public transport: from Thun (railway station) by bus every 15 minutes to Oberhofen, or by boat
There are shopping facilities in the village.
